A former pro tennis player, she is now one of the most well-known faces on Sky TG24––Italy’s leading news network­­––where she hosted the historic first episode on August 31, 2003.

Currently the anchorwoman for the main daily segments, for the past two years she curated and hosted one of the channel’s flagship programs, “I numeri della pandemia” [“Pandemic Numbers,”] an in-depth look at COVID and its effects. 

As a war correspondent, in 2003 she covered the Nassiriya massacre in Iraq, and the first anniversary of the U.S. attack in Baghdad in 2004. Currently, she covers politics, with specials and election marathons.
