Cartolano has covered the biggest national and international news events in recent years, including the Abruzzo earthquake, the Viareggio train disaster, the G8 in L’Aquila, the Messina flood, the Avetrana case, the Costa Concordia shipwreck, the catastrophic earthquake in Nepal, the earthquake in Central Italy, and more recently the Morandi bridge collapse in Genoa and the pandemic in Italy.
A regular correspondent in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Kosovo and Libya, she has reported closely on international crises within their foreign contexts.
In addition to her work as a top correspondent for the Italian all-news channel, she hosts Skytg24’s morning program ‘Buongiorno’ aired daily from Monday to Friday.
