A journalist in the newsrooms of the dailies L’Unità and Pubblico and the weekly L’Espresso, she began working for TV as an editor and writer for the programs Citizen Report and I Nuovi Mille (Rai 3) and Il fatto del giorno (Rai 2). Together with Concita De Gregorio she wrote the program Fuori Roma for Rai 3, participated in the project Cosa Pensano le Ragazze [What Girls Think] (Repubblica.it) and the docufilm Lievito Madre. Le ragazze del secolo scorso [Mother Dough. The girls of the last century].
She later worked at La7 as a guest host on L’Aria Che Tira and as a writer for In Onda; from 2020 to 2025, she worked on Che Tempo Che Fa as Head of Political and Institutional Guests and as a writer for the politics and current affairs segment.

In 2013, she published the novel Il Regno di Op with Einaudi. For Piemme, she collaborated on the writing of Maurizio Landini’s latest book, Un’Altra Storia (2025).

She has a PhD in Political Studies, great experience in political and institutional communication, and was mayor of Molfetta from 2013 to 2016.
