Michela Marzano was born in Rome in 1970. She studied at the Normale Superiore in Pisa and lives in Paris, where she is a full Professor of Moral Philosophy at the Université Paris Descartes.
A frequent correspondent for La Repubblica and La Stampa, she has written numerous academic books and novels, in both French and Italian, that have been translated into numerous languages.
She won the Premio Bancarella in 2014 for L’amore è tutto: è tutto che conosco dell’amore [Love is All: Everything I Know About Love] (UTET). Her most recent novel is Stirpe e vergogna [Bloodlines and Shame], published by Rizzoli in 2021.
