Roman by birth and Milanese by adoption, after high school and university studies in communications, she made her debut at the age of 21 at the newspaper la Repubblica, developing at Corriere della Sera and Novella. At Vanity Fair, she learned the ‘sentimental pop’ and the form that is essential at Condé Nast, where for 12 years she produced interviews and cover stories and was sent to the most important cultural events in the country.
A lecturer in digital journalism at various universities, including in IULM’s Master of Journalism, she has won five journalism awards under the high patronage of the Presidency of the Republic, from Maria Grazia Cutuli with “Lo spettacolo del dolore,” [The Spectacle of Grief] to Il Sole 24 Ore’s Sara Bianchi with her report on early-onset Alzheimer’s “Ora che le stanze si stanno spegnendo,” [Now that the rooms are going out] to Enzo Baldoni with the short documentary “Sotto il cielo di Bagdad” [Under the Sky of Bagdad].
She is, among other things, managing editor of Telethon News, the Foundation’s newspaper that funds research to find a cure for rare genetic diseases.
