Educated at the University of Turin, she worked with the leading experts of Italian cognitive psychology at the Center for Cognitive Science. After her studies in neuroscience, she collaborated with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid on various research projects and worked with the association ‘Psychologists without Borders’ in support of women in need.
In addition to her clinical practice, she is currently involved in science communication, penning articles for the Mondadori Group’s online publication MyPersonalTrainer.it, as well as working on its podcast My Positive Tips. Every Saturday morning she brings psychological expertise to the RTL 102 group’s broadcasting service Radiofreccia.
Psicologa Scortese is the name of her social media project, which rises from the need to deliver psychology directly without trivializing, moving away from the type of ‘watered-down’ and sanitized narratives that often characterize scientific dissemination of mental health.
Il metodo scortese [The unpolite method] (Solferino, 2023) is her first book.
