A graduate in Political Science from LUISS, with a Master’s degree in Marketing, Morici began his career at Procter & Gamble, first in Italy and then in London and Geneva. Later, he worked at Monitor, the strategy consulting firm founded by Michael Porter, and then moved to Bolton in the role of General Manager of the Italian food division. For ten years starting in 2008, he worked at Barilla, then rejoined the Bolton Group first as CEO of the Food Business Unit and later as CEO of the entire company.
He has been on the Feltrinelli Group’s Board of Directors since 2019, and is now its Vice President. In 2023, he also joined the Board of Directors of Scuola Holden, Alessandro Baricco’s writing school.
Morici is Operating Partner of the investment holding company NUO (Exor Group), overseeing investee companies and development dossiers in the food and FMCG sectors. He is Senior Advisor of EY for Consumer Goods, Executive in Residence of IMD and leads consulting and training workshops for investment funds and individual companies.
He has published multiple titles with Feltrinelli, including: How To Make it In Marketing and Still Be A Good Person: Ethics and Poetics of the Most Talked About Job on the Planet (2014); How to Be A Manager and Still Be A Good Person: Instructions for Avoiding the End of the World (and Your Company) (2018), Being a Leader, but Not Overdoing It: The Art and Strain of Leading A Company (2022) and Growing up is something for adults. He is regularly invited to give keynote speeches in corporate and cultural settings. His talks span leadership, management, cultural and strategic changes that favor corporate growth, the role and social responsibility of businesses, and corporate governance with a particular focus on management and ownership in family businesses.
He is also an expert in food, sustainable food supply chains, internationalization of Italian food, and marketing, branding and communication.
