In 2013, together with other partners, he founded the Cooperativa Sociale Nivalis Onlus in Milan, which develops psychological support projects for adolescents and their families. Former collaborator of the Alta Scuola di Psicologia A. Gemelli of the Catholic University of Milan, he is responsible for the Student Psychological Counseling Service for the Piacenza branch of the same university.
He has been a Visiting Researcher at Boston College and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. At the City University of New York, he specialized in research and development of clinical interventions in health psychology and psycho-oncology.
In 2020, in the face of the health emergency for COVID-19, he established a psychological support network for quarantined citizens and the first psychological support service for post-traumatic stress risk in the first Lodi red zone.
In collaboration with Vanity Fair, he produces the podcast “Stories That Are Yours Too”, now in its second season, giving voice to the stories of ordinary people to reflect on the impact COVID-19 and social distancing have had on our daily lives and how, starting from the present, we imagine our tomorrow.
His book La disciplina dell’imperfezione. Navigare tra le nuove fragilità contemporanee [The Discipline of Imperfection. Navigating among the new contemporary fragilities] published by Sperling & Kupfer was released on March 2023.
