Graduated with a degree in philosophy, he is the author of essays and novels published by Hoepli, effequ, Tunué, Newton Compton and Edizioni Tlon. Over the years he has amassed experience as a scholar and educator in the fields of AI and creativity, as well as being a digital artist. His artistic output is distinctive for its extremely original aesthetic, driven by a capacity for writing prompts and generating images and pictures in a unique style which are often guided by the artist’s own errors.

Recently he published a graphic “philosophy novel” titled Sunyata (Eris Edizioni, 2023) and La rivoluzione algoritmica delle immagini [The algorithmic revolution of images] (Sossella Editore, 2024).

Editorial director of the cultural review L’Indiscreto, D’Isa writes and draws for various publications, both Italian and international. His works are exhibited with increasing frequency both in Italy and abroad.

Currently he is a professor of philosophy at the Lorenzo de’Medici institute (Florence) and instructor of illustration and Contemporary Plastic Techniques at LABA Brescia.
