President of ADRA (European Association of AI, Data and Robotics), she works directly with the European Commission to implement Horizon Europe’s 2.6 billion euro investment plan for 2021-2027, guiding the development of the European innovation ecosystem in AI, data and robotics, with a focus on the new technology frontier: Physical AI.
Member of the industrial board of AIxIA (Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence), the CAIRNE Advisory Board and the Ministry of Economic Development’s group of experts that developed the first Italian national strategy for IA, she brings to the table a unique vision that unites European and international policy, business and social impact.
She is an educator of AI and sustainable development in the HumanAIze Master at the Polytechnic University of Turin and sits on the board of the Fondazione per la Scuola of the Compagnia San Paolo. With an education in business economics from Bocconi and a CEMS master’s degree obtained in Belgium, she has worked across various European countries as well as the US, in fields ranging from the new economy (mobile telecommunications, video streaming) to digital transformation in the automotive industry.
In 2021 she was recognised as one of the 50 most influential women in technology in Italy (Inspiring Fifty Italy). She is the President of Base Italia, a civic startup for democratic participation, Vice President of IGF Italia, (Internet Governance Forum of the UN) and the founder of EquALL for gender equality.
Her international profile and her experience at the highest international levels make her a leading keynote speaker on AI, innovation, the geopolitics of technology and leadership. She is capable of inspiring diverse audiences with her strategic vision, technical competence and the ability to translate the complexity of AI into concrete opportunity for businesses and firms.
