Fabbri was a lecturer in geopolitics for the Master’s in International Relations (Micri) at IULM University in Milan. He has taught seminars on Middle Eastern politics at the DIS (Department of Security Information, for the President of the Council) Training Program, and on geopolitical storytelling for the Holden School in Turin.
He has also taught internal seminars on major global power political strategy to the board of Microsoft USA, the only Italian to hold such a position. In 2019, he was invited to give a lecture on imperial geopolitics at Oriel College, Oxford.
Fabbri has published geopolitical opinion pieces in Italy Daily, the Italian supplement to The International Herald Tribune, as well as in The Italian Tribune, the leading Italian-American weekly paper. He is the author of Zanichelli Historical Atlas for high school education, and the forthcoming Handbook of Geopolitics for Gribaudo/Feltrinelli.
For Rai Radio 3, he is the producer of the series Empires, a five-part podcast breaking down the leading world powers, and the weekly segment Nine Minutes, a podcast that provides deep context to international news, to understand what is going on in the world beyond ideology or political alignment. For Chora Media he produces the series States of Tension, on major international rivalries.
In 2017, he received the Amerigo Award from the U.S. Ambassador to Italy as the best magazine journalist covering the United States. In February 2022, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he became a well-known TV personality, appearing daily on La7.
