She serves on the boards of the European Women Association and Opera for Peace. She is an honorary member of the Board of the UK Confederation. She is a Member of the Scientific Committee of Save the Children and of the ManagerItalia Tertiary Observatory.

Development and cooperation issues for reducing the gap between the world’s poorest and richest areas have been central to her interests since her early years, with a particular focus on gender inequality. She is regularly engaged in several field projects, and has worked for years on women’s education and empowerment in countries such as Lebanon and India.

A columnist on La Svolta [The Turn], she is a frequent author of articles and books on gender gap issues. Her latest book is titled Le signore non parlano di soldi [Ladies Don’t Talk About Money] (Fabbri Editori, 2023).
