Researcher and educator in cognitive and communication psychology, he obtained his degree in Rome and then specialised in Persuasive Technology at Stanford University in California.
Already professor of Digital Identity, Privacy and Cybersecurity within the Political Science, Sociology and Communication Faculty at la Sapienza University in Rome, he is currently Public Affairs and Communication Advisor for the National Cybersecurity Agency of Italy. His role is the development of special projects and the study of the impact of Artificial Intelligence.
An author for Treccani, he has published over two thousand articles for national newspapers, including Il Sole24Ore, Wired and L’Espresso, Il Manifesto and La Repubblica. He is a correspondent for the Rai Uno television program Codice. Tutta la vita è digitale [Code: Everything in life is digital]. He is also a television writer and presenter.

A keynote speaker, he tackles fundamental issues of the digital age, like the ethical, political and economic implications of Artificial Intelligence, disinformation as a strategic weapon, information security, digital sovereignty and power of Big Tech, with an approach that unites technical rigour and a social outlook.
