Giornale di Brescia’s Deputy Director of digital development in 2022, she has been at La Stampa newspaper for more than 20 years, first as head to the web and then as social media editor–the first in Italy–and finally with the role of readers’ guarantor (public editor), the only one in Italy. She currently works freelance.
Since the 1990s, she has been involved in internet and digital journalism and was called to the Chamber of Deputies in 2014 and 2015 as head of the press office in charge of digitizing its communication.
In the book Internet, Our Rights (Laterza), written with jurist Guido Scorza, she popularized the Declaration of Rights on the Internet, which was voted unanimously in November 2015 in the House after two years of work in a study commission with Prof. Stefano Rodotà.
She has been a professional journalist since 1986 and graduated cum laude from Yale in History, with a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University. From 2016 to 2020, she directed the Master’s in Journalism at the University of Turin and was head of Futura.news.
