Paolo Condò

A sports journalist, Condò is a TV pundit for Sky Sport and columnist for La Repubblica. Since 2010, he has been the Italian representative on the international jury that awards the Golden Ball, the highest honor in the soccer world.

Born in Trieste in 1958, Condò has been a professional journalist since 1983, getting his start at Il Piccolo di Trieste. He then moved to La Gazzetta dello Sport for years, and has been a Sky Sport talent since 2015. He has been a frequent contributor to La Repubblica for the past few years.

Over the course of his career, he has done live coverage of 7 World Cups, 5 European Championships, 2 Summer Olympics, 11 Champions League finals and 8 Giro d’Italia.

He is the author of numerous books, including the biography of Francesco Totti Un Capitano [A Captain] which was a #1 Italian bestseller, selling over three hundred thousand copies and translated in about thirty countries. The book was also adapted into a docu-film that won the David di Donatello award, and a TV series that was among Sky’s most successful shows.
