Comune di San Lazzaro di Savena
Where and when
San Lazzaro di Savena (BO), October 2023
The objective of the General Assembly for childhood and adolescence, held in San Lazzaro di Savena on 26, 27 and 28 October, was twofold: to facilitate a dialogue between the people and the “experts”, and to produce a guide for good practice for the administrations of tomorrow.
A large part of the event’s content was curated by Elastica, divided into a mix of both institutional and playful occasions aimed at stimulating debate, getting people involved, and having fun: round tables, book presentations, theatrical evenings, lectio magistralis, discussions between experts, sector operators, administrators and representatives of various fields to discuss highly topical issues such as the declining birth rate and education. There was significant involvement not only by the public but also school students.
The event was an opportunity for interaction and exchange, and an open space for dialogue accessible to all, inaugurated by the Mayor of San Lazzaro di Savena Isabella Conti, exemplar of innovation in welfare policies for families, in the company of the President of the Emilia Romagna Region Stefano Bonaccini and the Mayor of Bologna Matteo Lepore. Accompanying the opening of the proceedings was the visionary lectio brevis on learning spaces by architect Mario Cucinella.
Media relations activities went far beyond the October appointment, bringing Mayor Conti’s experience to the attention of Presa Diretta‘s cameras, as a case history of excellence (the episode will be broadcast on Rai 3 on 8 March 2024 ).
The selection of featured guests over the three days was also curated by Elastica.
