Following the pandemic, awareness has spread that the health of the planet, animals, plants and human beings are intimately interconnected, and we increasingly hear about the One Health concept: an integrated and unified system that aims to balance and sustainably optimize the health of humans, animals, plants and ecosystems.
Within this extremely broad and complex framework, the communication strategy was based on the one hand on the identification of the most suitable tools to convey the contents by creating a mapping of the digital system of Sapienza’s StaR Magazine, and on the other it was focused on the contents themselves, identifying the strengths and elements that distinguish the Master from those offered by other universities.
Special attention was paid to the theme of dialogue between science and politics that the Master intends to encourage, i.e. preparing young people to sit at the decision-making tables of public administrations and companies at an international level to guide choices in the direction of One Health policies. This element has been valorized as an extraordinary training opportunity that is founded in the Higher School of Advanced Studies of the Sapienza University of Rome (SSAS) and is promoted by the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC), highlighting the uniqueness of this course which unites the high academic tradition of the historic Roman university and the innovation of the newly established National Biodiversity Future Centre (NBFC), one of the five national centers dedicated to frontier research involving institutions and companies throughout Italy.
These subjects have taken space in economic newspapers interested in the training and work opportunities that this new course can offer, including Il Sole 24 Ore, ItaliaOggi and Avvenire.
