On 21 March 1924 in Foggia, a historical event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the city: public water gushed in its streets for the first time. A hundred years later, Acquedotto Pugliese – a historic company involved in the management of integrated water systems – entrusted Elastica with the design and production of great celebrations.

At the center are the main stakeholders of AQP – employees, institutions and citizens. The underlying theme of the event narrative is the song “Futura” and the messages taken from other famous songs by Lucio Dalla, a singer-songwriter deeply linked to the Foggia area. Objectives: to commemorate the company’s centennial and to talk about the present, but above all to publicly envision the company’s future, leader of important interventions for the territory.

The three-day event began with an evening dedicated to the three institutions alongside AQP – Foggia Municipality, the Pugliese Water Authority (AIP) and the Apulia Region – directed by Gegè Telesforo, an artist from Foggia much loved in the city, who entertained the audience of the Giordano Theater for over forty minutes with a tremendous show. It then continued with a phygital event dedicated to the company’s 1000 employees which saw representatives of corporate governance and aqueduct operators alternating on stage, accompanied throughout the convention by the narrative voice of psychologist and best-selling author Luca Mazzucchelli.

To conclude, a party in Piazza Cavour attended by thousands of citizens. On the stage, set up in front of the Sele Fountain, Fiorella Mannoia, Paola Turci, Erica Mou and Rosmy performed accompanied by the Foggia Conservatory Symphony Orchestra directed by Maestro Beppe D’Onghia, historic collaborator of Lucio Dalla. The festive evening was hosted by the music critic Gino Castaldo.

In addition to the curation of the events and contents, the casting and the engagements, Elastica was responsible for the production of the three events with related strategic and technical coordination and direction.
