Fabrica Reunion

Fabrica

Where and when

Treviso, 2016

22 years after its foundation, Fabrica, the communications research centre established by Luciano Benetton, organised its first reunion for former fellows.
It was an incredible party, a celebration of creativity that brought together former Fabrica alumni from all over the world. The guest of honour was Alejandro Aravena, Pritzker Prize Laureate 2016 and the director of the Venice Architecture Biennale, who chatted with Fabrica alumni about cutting-edge social architecture issues. His talked was followed by another special guest, Erik Kessels, an artist, curator and founder of the communications agency Kesselskramer.

During the afternoon, Fabrica alumni took part in an Open Mic Session, with each one talking about what they have done since their time at Fabrica.  It was a chance for “old” alumni to network with “new” alumni and establish innovative projects together. The event was coordinated by Massimo Russo. To conclude during the evening was a performance by Nico Vascellari, together with his group Ninos do Brasil, followed by Davide Cairo and Diego Cofone.

P.S. It was a great party, but I never sweat so much dancing!
