Giacomo Campiotti

He is a screenwriter and director of the multi-award winning RAI television series “Braccialetti rossi” (nominated for an EMMY Kids Award), and an enthusiastic speaker about themes such as courage, self-awareness and hidden opportunities in times of crisis.

He worked as an assistant director for Mario Monicelli (“Il Marchese del Grillo”, “Speriamo che sia femmina” and “I Picari”). After filming a series of short films produced by Ermanno Olmi, in 1989 he made his first full-length film, “Corsa di primavera”, which won the Giffoni Film Festival prize for best film as well as many other prizes at various international film festivals.

His second film, “Come due coccodrilli”, with Giancarlo Giannini, Valeria Golino and Fabrizio Bentivoglio, was nominated for a Golden Globe in the best foreign film category.

He directed “Bianca come il latte, rossa come il sangue”, based on the best-selling book of the same name. He has also worked on important television series, both in Italy and abroad, including “Doctor Zhivago, a British series starring Keira Knightley and Sam Neill.

In an original way, and using clips from his films, his speeches deal with the themes of leadership, team building, the dynamics of interpersonal understanding, courage, self-awareness and awareness of energy and hidden opportunities in times of crisis.

He is married with five children.
