Communication and PR
As a professional journalist specializing in cultural affairs, I have been a regular contributor to Italian dailies like L’Unità, Il Resto del Carlino, and for more than 15 years, La Repubblica. I have also presented news reports on Italy’s state television, Rai. Communication and PR have always been my field, and I have press-office experience with institutions like Bologna’s Teatro Comunale, and Bologna University.
Recently I was involved in the communication side of Serena Dandini’s theatrical event “Ferite a morte” – ‘Wounded to Death’ (produced by Mismaonda), coordinating fundraising and relations with a series of institutions, such as the United Nations in New York and international organizations campaigning to wipe out domestic violence. Photography is another major interest. My book “Tokyo sui miei passi” was published by Pendragon.
Development and Institutional Relations
I worked for more than 20 years with leading figures on the Italian music scene in the 80s and 90s, including Lucio Dalla, and subsequently Luca Carboni, acting as his manager. I planned and helped stage tours with these singers in Italy and Europe, including the Carboni-Jovanotti tour of 1992. In 1998 I took my live music experience into another – related – professional field: large scale event organization. The Heineken Jamming Festival was my first big event. In 2008 I was one of the founders of Mismaonda where I coordinated major - often experimental - productions for clients like Mercedes, Sipra, and Nokia. 2012 saw the start of the innovative festival known as La Repubblica delle Idee, open public talks sponsored by the Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.
I have worked in event management since 2000, initially in production and baseline organization with companies like Laprimavolta srl and Mismaonda srl, subsequently on the content management side at Mismaonda. I am also involved with the technical aspects of staging events and have had the pleasure of working in close contact with people from the world of culture, the performing arts and journalism like Mario Cucinella, Riccardo Luna, Mario Tozzi, Serena Dandini and Ezio Mauro, synchronizing their words with images.
After 10 years of classical ballet and a degree in History, working in theatre was a natural follow on for me. I started out in production and booking, working with a wide range of artists, among them, Giovanni Allevi when he performed at Verona’s Arena with the world’s 12 greatest orchestras. My passion for the theatre then led me into overall event organization with responibilities ranging from coordinating with local authorities to fitting together all the pieces that make the magic of theatre possible.
A graduate of Bologna University’s DAMS faculty, specializing in film, I am one of Elastic’s latest ‘acquisitions’. I gained invaluable experience first working with a sports event-organizing and marketing agency where I was a corporate convention production assistant and hospitality organizer for national and international sports events. Subsequently I passed to the world of theatre, festivals and communication, mainly involved in casting, fundraising and communication.
For the past 8 years my mottos have been: numbers, great accuracy and accounting. My cradle was 'double entry book-keeping', my very first words were 'VAT' and 'assets', my adolescence was marked by the deadline of the 16th of each month and by balance sheets. After many years of career growth and training in accountants’ offices, I joined Elastica, where I am responsible for accounting and administration with a great deal of enthusiasm and curiosity towards the magic world of events.
I started working in the area of corporate communication soon after 2000, having graduated in international politics, I first of all worked for an important fashion house, then with a communication agency. I have been working as freelance since 2006, and have been in charge of the press office of companies in the ICT, Industrial, Electrical, Logistics, Food, Furnishing sector, etc.
I am in charge of all activities in the communication area, from web marketing to social media strategy, from the press office to public relations. I like to support companies in building a communication path, telling about their life and following their media positioning. This is my job also at Elastica, and I follow project which are dedicated to the corporate world.
For several years now I have been a trainer at Ecipar, the training company of CNA, teaching their courses in the communication area.
I live in Bologna, I have run two marathons and my balcony is always in full bloom.

After a work experience at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and a degree in law, without ever giving up my passion for outdoor sports, I have been developing professionally in the world of outdoor retailing. I started from the ‘front lines', all the way to management, through the organisation of international training activities, sporting events, marketing and sponsorships.
throughout my career, however, my sensitivity for the humanities slowly led me to cultural events, which is how I reached Elastica, with the goal of starting artistically ambitious projects. I am in charge of distributing cultural events and promoting the personality of our Bestiary.
I have a degree in Computer Studies for Management from Bologna University, specialising in Management and Corporate Communication. I am the latest newcomer at Elastica, and ever since my arrival I never stopped using tweeting and posting. It all started with my unconditional love for computer studies, which has led me over the past few years to the magic world of social media. I am in charge of digital communication for a small editorial office in my town, InondazioniTv, and of the association Organi Antichi in Bologna.
Web marketing is my passion, “post” and “hashtag” are my daily bread.
